Table NA.2 of BS.EN.12899-1:2007 states that for Wind Load EITHER design to BS.EN.1991-1-4 using the 10minute mean wind reference speed appropriate to the location of the sign, taken from the national wind map (shown in BS.EN.1991-1-4 UK National Annex which is in preparation) and adjusted for altitude. OR use the appropriate wind load value taken from the table below, which has been calculated using BS.EN.1991-1-4.
